A not-so-traditional creative company for not-so-traditional people… What does that mean?

I’m not a very traditional person, and growing up in the 90’s and 00’s was an ordeal. Reading books, comic books, graphic novels, and manga was weird. You couldn’t mention anime or if you liked Star Wars without being called a nerd or geek in a derogatory manner. Essentially being different than what was deemed normal or traditional, was bad. But now that I’m in my 30s. That’s a load of bullshit.

I remember telling people when I was getting married that our wedding was booked themed, and I was making our programs look like legitimate books, and the name cards were going to be ‘library’ cards, and I’d be walking down the aisle to music from How to Train your Dragon… they gave me a look that clearly said: “She’s off her rocker.”

So I want to be the artist others can come to for their creativity needs when told “really? that’s weird.” We don’t receive that kind of language here! Normal is overrated. Embrace what makes you not so traditional!
